Polly's Pies Launches Fourth Annual

Local initiative supports active-duty service members, veterans and first responders through community pie donation drive

Polly's Pies Launches Fourth Annual Placentia, CA  (RestaurantNews.com)  SoCal legacy restaurant Polly’s Pies has launched its annual “Pie for the People” campaign, calling on the community to help deliver a slice of gratitude for those who serve. Running now through July 4, this initiative invites guests to purchase a $15.00 pie donation that will go directly to first responders, active-duty service members and veterans across Southern California. For every two pies sold, Polly’s will donate one pie.

Now in its fourth year, the campaign has been a deeply personal initiative for Polly’s Pies’ co-founders Don Sheldrake and the late Eddie Sheldrake, as well as the Los Alamitos store manager – all veterans – making it not just a show of community support, but a personal tribute from the organization itself.

With 13,278 pies already raised, Polly’s is calling on the community to help reach a new goal of 6,000 pies by Independence Day. Deliveries will be coordinated through local VA hospitals, military platoons and service organizations.

“We’re proud to give back to those who’ve given so much,” said Polly’s Pies’ Director of Brand Marketing Jacklyn Mitosinka. “Every pie is a small but meaningful way to say thank you and show appreciation to the heroes in our neighborhoods.”

To purchase a “Pie for the People” or support the campaign, visit PollysPies.com or any of the brand’s 13 locations throughout Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties. Donations can also be made online. For more information, follow Polly’s on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
